In the warmer:-

double smoked Danish bacon, peameal bacon,
sausage patties, turkey sausages,
potato pancakes, cheesy potato patties, home-fried potatoes with garlic and bacon,
smoked salmon omelette,
spinach, feta and tomato omelette,
baked eggs stuffed with ham and cheesy mushroom sauce,
eggs Benedict,
oven-roasted grape tomatoes,
baked sliced beetroot,
grilled mushrooms,
Maple baked beans,
fried bread,
black pudding


Spinach quiche,
bacon & cheese quiche,
caramelized onion frittata

Country Brunch Skillet,
Vietnamese spring rolls (vegetarian) with sesame dip,
Thai-style noodles and shrimp,
chorizo hash with fried eggs,
coulibiac of salmon with dill (a kind of fish pie with eggs and rice),
curried beef turnovers,
golden onion tart,
kedgeree (smoked fish, rice, eggs),
pickled herring salad


Buttermilk Dollar Pancakes,
Lemon Ricotta Pancakes,
French toast,
Maple syrup, Saskatoon Berry Fruit Syrup, Blueberry & Brandy Syrup


Crepes....................
ham, cheese and asparagus crepes,

Light breakfast

Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis), crumpets

cheddar chive rolls, brie, onion and red pepper focaccia

jams, jellies

Tea, coffee, juices


(some bacon, turkey sausage or sausage patties, eggs, tomatoes, in the hidey place to cook up for the very hungry ones!)

I used white stilton Ginns so it is not 'smelly' !!

I am sure you will like it as it is very mild !

MY Christmas present was a sub to the National Paper Archives ....... although I haven't yet taken it out.


My anniversary present, last August, was a sub to FMP ................ which I haven't yet activated because some people seemed to be having some problems and I wanted to be sure the site was working properly when I paid them OH's money :-)

If you watched his travels, think about what Paul Merton was offered when he went to China!! Disgusting though it is to us, my OH pointed out that, when one is literally starving to death, one will eat pretty much ...... anything :-S

Mind you, neither do I but I have heard of some of the ....er....amazing things they are supposed to eat on their trials.....not just insects but animal body parts too.......some even worse than offal :-( ;-) :-P


We are now on the modern version of St. Trinian's....not a patch on the one with Joyce Grenfell and Alastair Sims. :-(
