I usually make straight for the bacon Dea.........then the tomatoes followed by the fried bread. :-D Very basic but luverly. Thank you Persie.

Dreadful news about another earthquake - so frightening. :-(

It's hammering down with rain and what do I spot as a headline in the Telegraph? "Don't take bath this Christmas as drought order is issued". :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

It's aimed at those in the SE though, and I am in the NW. Nothing like bringing joy and happiness to one's readers... :-(

WHAT is that dreadful noise???

Oh. It's Persie in the kitchen with someone.

Hi Grace - that is not good. You need your laptop to be working - blow the washing machine :-D There is something special with having little ones around at Christmas isn't there? Especially when they are at that 'believing' age. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. <3

Gins.....good job you ain't a lecturer in history! :-P

Here we go again....

Christchurch has been hit by a major 5.3 aftershock, after a "vicious" 5.8 quake hit the city at 1.58pm this afternoon... tremors felt right up to Wellington... 19 injured and a lot of people without power.
And that damn liquefaction in the eastern suburbs of Christchurch... and things are still shuddering..

Morning everyone, hope you are all well. Getting busy with Christmas here and it is sooo hot :-(!

Had to go down to the supermarket and get some milk and it was so busy. Every carpark was taken and people were pushing and jostling each other. Glad I was only getting milk!

Gracie is getting very excited this year she understands about Santa so it will be fun.

Hope everyone is well, I haven't been game to read back as my laptop keeps turfing me out of the internet. I can't even do a google search! :-P

Oh well I can hear the washing machine calling me, I'll pop back in later!

She means 'baff'. Like wot Fans is havin.

I have an Edith May Pretoria in my tree somewhere and my OH had an uncle whose second name was Verdun. Why would anyone want to name a child after a battle????

Gins......if you are a genealogist, it would help if you had some small knowledge of history you know.... :-P
