Dea Report 22 Dec 2011 17:58

Not done all mine yet Ginns - I will get it on Saturday!

Hubby has been 'proper poorly' today - NOT like him at all !

He got up and had to go back to bed and when he got up again he sat in his chair with the heating on full blast, shivering with cold, his feet on a hot water bottle and another one on his knee !

Must be some sort of 'bug' so I hope it doesn't last too long

Had to change arrangements for picking up grand-daughter from school as whatever it is, I didn't want her to catch it, especially this close to Christmas.

She will be SO disappointed but I am sure that the Xmas prezzies will 'make up' !!

Fanny the birth place for Emily looks more like Sussex on the 1871 cesnsus

And then there is this birth which I dare say youve seen?

Births Jun 1853
----------------------------------------
Irish Emily Cuckfield 2b 121

And this one for her sister?

Births Mar 1856
---------------------------------------
IRISH Jane Reigate 2a 118

I was just saying to JB this morning that the temp showing on the car yesterday was 10.5 and that was late in the afternoon

Very mild and Im not complaining :-D

Jonesey Report 22 Dec 2011 09:42

What a difference!!

Just read that the highest temperature recorded in the UK yesterday was 14c.
On the same day exactly one year ago the lowest temperature recorded in the UK was -20c

Bookies have now reduced the odds of Christmas day 2011 being the warmest on record. Just over a week ago they slashed the odds of it being a white Christmas.

Gee

Gee Report 22 Dec 2011 09:35

Oh Pers, your poor daughter and little August...........I hope they will be feeling well enough to enjoy Christmas x

I had a women years ago who claimed whip lash, knee pain and tried to claim off me for the lot as well as damages because she couldnt go to the gym...........

............porkies all of it, she had pulled out of a space the exact same time as me and she hit me from behind.......she got nowt in the end!

Persephone

Persephone Report 22 Dec 2011 08:40

I reckon she did not want to tell her husband that she was at fault... so when it was her back and LK's husband's front of vehicle that were damaged ... what is the most likely scenario to have taken place.

I did hit someone from behind once, she looked around and then went through the give way sign.... I saw her move off so I looked around and took off as way was clear but she had for some reason stopped again about two -three feet in front of me.. I had no damage because bull bar on my van saved me... but I did ding her.... she also had another ding that was not from me.... I admitted my error (no witness) but told her don't blame me for the rest. Her insurance co wouldn't have a bar of her claim., she and her husband had made false claims re jewellery on an earlier occasion.. So it cost me nothing and my no claims bonus remained as was.
I told my insurance what I had done etc and it was them that told me that this couple were known for messing around with insurance companies.

Thank you for breakfast Sylvia - Hope you have a wonderful time with your friends. <3 <3 :-)

Gosh - 'your lot' are having a tough time at the moment Persie - Hope they all get better soon! <3

LK - That is SO frustrating!!! - Such a shame a witness cannot be found to show this person up in her lying!

Hope everyone else is doing O.K.?

Had a little look for Emily, Fans but haven't spotted her yet - will look again later.

Persephone Report 22 Dec 2011 07:51

Sorry got back earlier today...then I have been trying to catch up ... and still have not done so... we have been to Tauranga... the Sea Princess was in dock at Mt Maunganui port and looked lovely.

So much going on Dea talking to herself, and Renes arranging moving vans and bathrooms under stairs etc... etc and LK with her amazing family carry on..

I haven't finished reading yet....

Daughter okay now, did not have camera down throat Tues... she had it today Thurs.. there were more stones and they got moved to her stomach now... during the wait she got jaundice, went off her food and threw up whatever she tried... they gave her a CT scan and that revealed an ovarian cyst which as it is not bothering her at the moment will come out at a later date... but wait there's more...

Yesterday August had a temperature and developed a rash.. off to doctor and then he and his father were booked into the children's ward at same hospital so mum popped down for a visit. August won't take antibiotics by medicine so he got a sharp jab in the btm and they also put a butterfly for intravenous on his arm so he had to have splint. Possibly viral meningitis.. temp went down overnight back up later this morning but then had a good sleep and got sent home later today..Though he has since been back to visit his mum.

Now back to reading

Dont know Jax...But Emily/Emma may not even be under Irish as surname as far as I know....This one is driving me nuts.....

I believe its the same one thats down as Emma Irish 1856 born Chichester Sussex on 1881 in Croydon in Park Road though.....

Think Jane may just be a foster sister though and her birth place is unreadable
No births to go with Emily in Surrey ,nor Jane that are right though
Dont reckon either of the girls were born under the name Irish but taken in/fostered to a family called Irish..

On Emma/Emilys MC it says father William Irish...Bootmaker.....But I cant find her with a William Irish ...Bootmaker .....or any other kind of ruddy Maker either....Been searching for weeks on and off...

May put a post up on this after Mr H has gorn fer his hols with parents....

There were people around but it was going to be a straightforward claim and the woman was apologising and admitting it was her fault at first. She changed her story after talking to her husband.
