Dea,

Asthma is a real buddy bast... it is so annoying... petrol fumes can set me gasping... and do you think I can get him to shut the car door whilst he is filling up... strange thing is I am okay if I get out of the car. My friend has been told that her baby has probably got it... he is wheezing quite badly the other day. Her first child was the same.. but it seems to have missed the middle one.... she is another little fairy princess like little Gracie.

I tell you what Sylv, I can ramble on... I could do several posts to fill up the boards... but yes they are very quiet... the searching for ancestors and living rellies both move very slowly these days.

The highlight on the threads would be your breakfasts...

Did I see F by G pop in and do the fandango>>>>>>> ??

Persie

I will go and do the small kids Christmas shopping tomorrow... it was bedlam down at the mall around lunch time today... so I though stuff that for a game of soldiers... I will go early on Sat morning before the hoards arrive.

I think my oldest grandson Evan could do with me giving his hair a tidy up... His mother cut it and it looks terrible... mind you there is not much left to tidy.. don't think he would appreciate me saying that is his Christmas present from me... he is not bovvered by his hair but his older sisters think it looks frightful. He loves lego and computer games so I know I can do the lego but the computer games.. are a bit of a mystery to me. At least I make the guys in the shop laugh with my lack of knowledge when I go in there.

I have got the sixteen year old sorted but it is madame 14 that always gives me the problem.. has ever since she was 11. I think she works on the Henry Ford theory... any colour as long as it is black.

Hi Dea,

I will, I actually thought last night I have been doing a bit too much running around so I intend to have a moderately quiet weekend, only one Christmas catchup Saturday morning and that's it.

Gracie has asked Santa to bring chocolate, yoghurt and weet bix, grocery shopping for her!

Dea

Dea Report 8 Dec 2011 21:37

You take care Gracie - you want to have a nice Christmas with your lovely little girl but don't try too hard and exhaust yourself!

You are still 'recovering' and, at the end of the day, all she will want is a load of christmas wrapping, lots ofcellotape to tear orf, a few 'sparklies' and her mum and dad sharing it all with her!!

'Happy time' spent together is the most important !!

Morning all, opposite weather here Hot hot and hot..yuck. I so should have been born in a colder country, I hate the heat!

Hoep everyone is okay, hope your breathing is easier Dea, it has been a bad year here for asthma sufferers my dr said. It must be awful to get it like that..

Congrats for your daughter Persie, (I'd notice the rippling muscles as well), glad that you had a good day and good weather!

Gosh I feel so slack this year I haven't done ANY shopping for Christmas yet, only bits and pieces for Gracie....every time I try to, something else happens. i was supposed to go last night but I came home from work to use one of this group's expressions, completely cream crackered! :-)

we're going to have to feed you up, Dea!

Actually .... weather warning for you all ..........................

The East Coast of the US and Canada are having very strong winds (even being called a "weather bomb"). Wnds are over 100 km strong

People in Halifax NS, have been seen clinging to lamp posts to avoid being blown over.

These storms often make it over to the UK in about a week.

it's very calm here, no wind at all

..... although the weatherman says it might get windy later, and blow away the grey clouds
