Have you found them on any later census ?

Did the wife die in Scotland?

If you need help we need more info

Obviously you can’t find a date of death until you have found the death registration.
You say there is no record of him living after his marriage. Have you found his wife/ widow on the following census.
Have you considered that they might not have been living in Scotland.
If you want anyone to have a look for you then you need to give details.

Can anyone suggest how to find a date of death of a relative. I have looked at every year I can think of on Scotlands People and there is no sign of him living or dead after his marriage in 1886 and when his wife died as a widow in 1927.
