Hi
Hope someone who has access to passenger records can help. I have just found out from a relative that my great-grandmother Margaret Jane Armstrong (born 01/05/1856, Enniskillen, Ireland) travelled to USA in 1865 alone to join her brother (name unknown - but aged 17). She later married in New Jersey (1876)and came back to UK with her British husband James Lawrence
It would be great if anyone could find her for me as very little is known about her.
Thanks in anticipation
Clare

Thanks both.
As far as I am told she travelled alone. She came back to UK between 1876 (year of marriage) and Nov 1880 (first child born in UK).
Again many thanks for your help
Cheers Clare

Sorry clare, But cannot find margaret on the incoming passenger list for those years either.

In which part of the uk did she come back to live?.

Have you found her on any census?.
