Your Gedcom file can also be opened in Microsoft WordPad. Looks strange, but at least the text is searchable.

I sometimes use this when I know someone was born in a certain village, but can't remember the person.

Hello again

I tried clicking on File, Edit with Microsoft Word. That didn't work either.

When more time, will have a look at printing from my Family Tree Maker programme on my computer.

If you go to your Home Page then hover your mouse over 'Family Tree' (top of page) you will see 'Export Gedcom'. If you click on this, Genes Reunited send you an email with a very small attachment (only about 100kb or so, depending on your tree size) which is a .ged file. You can then open this using a family tree programme.

I think you have to do it page by page.

Hi Michael

Hmmm. Thought I could be clever by right clicking on the page and clicking 'select all' then copying and pasting into either an Excel Spreadsheet or a Word Document, but in both cases I got weird results and nearly crashed my computer. :-0

Will go away and have another think.

Anyone?

Michael

How do I print a FULL list of my relatives?
All I can print is WYSIWYG.

Regards

Mike
