Looking for an Alexander Adland who was the son of Albert John Adland and Tracey R Moroney. I cant seem to find any info on him at all. Albert was married 3 times & Tracey was his 3rd wife whom he married in 1977 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. But all I have is that they had a son called Alexander. I would presume he was born in the 70's some time.
All help gratefully received

Where have you looked?

What is your connection?

Have you considered that the wife may also have been married before?

Is the person who told you about the 'son' known to be 100% reliable?

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 2 Jun 2014 14:22

Your info doesn't tally with the facts as recorded

The 1977 marriage was for an Albert H........NOT J

Are you sure he was fathering a child in about 1977?

There is NO record anywhere for Albert J Adland

And the wife's name is not spelled as you have it.

When you have checked your facts, let us know the outcome

There is a marriage in 1977 , but the wife's name is mistranscribed as Morokey,

Albert H Adland
Morokey Oct-Nov-Dec 1977 Kingston upon Thames London

no births to that marriage that I can see, there is however an Alexander Moroney but born long before that marriage, mmn Moroney, may not be connected at all

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 2 Jun 2014 14:36

The marriage is correctly transcribed on FMP

It's the poster's info which does not match the facts

Oh crikey so sorry Reggie, your right it is Albert Henry!!!! Looking at too many names!!
My original source is very reliable. I have looked on here for any Alexanders but to no avail. I have also looked on familysearch.
He would be my 1st cousin once removed

Thanks Shirley I had seen that.
I'm just confused that there is no birth at all popping up. All a bit weird!

Maybe he was adopted by them

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 2 Jun 2014 19:28

The 'father' would have been too old to adopt

I did wonder if he was the child of Tracey and took the name Adland when they married in 77 but can't find a birth for Alexander Moroney either! She was possibly Irish.

There's a death for a Rita Tracy Adland who was born in 1935, which could be your "Tracy".

If she was 42 when she married in 1977 Moroney could well have been a previous married name

I had forgotten how old Albert was at the last marriage so yes he would be too old to be an adopter .maybe too Tracey at 42 wouldn't have had a baby ,BUT it's not impossible my mum had our youngest sister at 42 ,

It would seem more like Alexander was taken into the family rather than born of the marriage
