Did Eva die in this country, and have you got Charles' death certificate for the name of the informant (who may be a relative)?

Well there are some Stevens GRO army indices on FMP. But they don't show mmn so whether any are their children is anyone's guess

They don't seem to have had children in the UK

Do you have an exact date of birth for Herbert, as if you just have the registration as Jan/March 1920 he could have been born at the end of 1919?

Added:
Herbert Stevens, 1920, Kettering, is in a tree on here.
Have you contacted the tree owner?

try looking on FreeBMD to see if Charles and Eva had any children in the UK

am guessing it was an Army marriage GRO Army indices should show if they had children in Germany

Perhaps Herbert preferred to be known by his middle name, which began with A.(per his birth record).
Do you know what it was/is?

Hi everyone,
i need a little help in tracing family members please.
My great grandparents were Ernest and Winifred Stevens who had 4 children
Ernest 1908-1973 (my grandad), Rose 1914 -1987,Herbert 1920 and Charles 1921-1996
I have found that Rose married Alfred Smith in 1932 and Charles married Eva Anna Wittbold 1948 in germany. Can't find any thing on Herbert. How do i find out if Charles had any children if he was in Germany? they all lived in Kettering and Wellingborough area.
Thanks Gill
