Hello Maurice. I am so sorry to trouble you but I can't seem to find what you have found regarding Hugh Marks. I have tried nearly all that Google has to offer but I am not having much success. Can I be cheeky and ask you to tell me exactly what you did? Many thanks from this "Silver Surfer".

My husband's Great Uncle Hugh Marks fought in the First World War. He came from County Durham and it was told that he was one of the above. Can anyone throw any light on the Old Contemptibles??
