Hi - I recently found the web site for Berrington WW1 War Hospital

http://www.europeana1914-1918.eu/en/contributions/3211

This site features a nurses autograph book with entries from hospital patients during the 1914-18 period. My uncle was in the hospital for 3 months during that time but unfortunately I could not find an entry he had made, but I am sure other genes members might find the site interesting especially if an ancestors autograph can be found in the book.. There is also a photograph of the patients and nurses in June 1917 - I think my uncle must be on there somewhere but I do not have another photo of him to compare. I hope other genes member find the site beneficial. There are some very moving messages from patients.
