Could this possibly be the same person or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I found a burial on FMP that I believed could be my Gt Gt Gt Grandmother Mary Jane Hare.

Mary Jane Hare buried 6th September 1849 aged 62 last residence New Montague Street, Mile End New Town.

Today I received what I thought was the corresponding death certificate which says.

Mary Jane Hare died 1st September 1849 aged 62 living at 14 Little Pearl Street, Christ Church, Spitalfields.

The death was registered 6th September 1849.

It sounds highly likely that it is the same person. Perhaps she was living temporarily at one of the addresses.

Thank you Kath that's reassured me, one other thing I forgot to add is her husband Joseph was present at her death and registered the death.

My Gt Gt Gt Grandfather was Joseph Hare.

My g gran's d.cert gives the place of death entry as:
'108 Rosemount Viaduct Aberdeen (Us. Res. Middle Hill Aberdour)"

So she died at my gran's house. I don't know is she was just visiting, or if my gran was looking after her on a longer term basis. Maybe your rellie was similarly situated.

Have you checked who was living at 14 Little Pearl Street in the 1851 census? It may be a relative.

In the 1851 census there were three families living at 14 Little Pearl Street. Their surnames were:-

Turner
Hutson
Crow.

On your suggestion I have checked the 1851 census.

As Kath has said there were 3 families living at 14 Little Pearl Street, I can't find any connection to these families through marriage or otherwise.
