Are there any indexed marriage records showing the birthplace of a bride and/or the name of her father?

Welcome to the boards Gavin.

Marriage records after 1837 show fathers names and occupations but mothers names are not usually on there but it dos'nt show where the people were born I'm afraid.

not on the GRO indexes some counties though have online parish records .

Mostly though you would need to purchase a marriage cert for its info but it wont include where either parties were born only their residence at the time of marriage .

This was sometimes falsified too saying both lived at the same address so they didn't have to put the banns in two different parishes
