So there's no consistency? Oh well. Never mind. Thanks for that Inky1

Mine is wrong, as are others.
I opted out and it just shows 2002-2003 and occupancy 3 years. I have been here 32 years.
Checked a neighbour. His shows 2002-2006 and occupancy 19 years. Nope - they moved in just after us.
Another neighbour shows 2002-2003 and occupancy 3 years. She moved here in 1968!!!!

That's really helpful. Thank you Kath. :-)

I've just checked our address (it only lists us up to 2002 when we opted out) but on the record it says occupancy "2 years". We have been at the address since 1969 so I don't know where they get the occupancy years from.

EDIT - Just checked my son's in-law's address as I know when they moved in. They are listed from 2002 up to 2014 and occupancy years given as 29. This is correct if calculated from 2014.

So we're both :-S :-S :-D

Logically, you're probably right, but on the other hand the years may have been from previous registers?

Our own address has been redacted + we opted out from 2003. That's no help, is it?

I'd say from your example it would be from 2005, but I really haven't got a clue !!

FMP and other sites will give the years at the address eg 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005.
It will also say how many years they've been there eg 20 years.

To calculate the first year they'd have been registered at the address, do you deduct 20 from 2002 or from 2005??
