I know Jean/John Vibert was born 1784 was married to Eizabeth Le Feuvre ,had a son Abraham born 1814 was married to Elise De Carteret from Sark

In that case, it does look as though the 1861 and 1871 censuses I posted could be the correct ones - with son Abraham born c1815 - although John/Jean is listed as born either c1870 or c1872, and not 1874.

From 1891 Census. Marries ,with most f the information I have .
Though I have two other Children both girls in my tree ,though it is possible they could have married ,so not at that address

Who are the missing daughters? do you know when they were born? Perhaps they died in infancy.

ArgyllGran is right. All Channel Island records are held on the islands - there used to be JerseyLily on here that would do Jersey lookups.

I think Sark records may be held in Guernsey.


Have you tried Googling the name? - I found this site: http://www.vibertfamily.com

This tree says Jean died in 1838, which appears to be wrong, as we have him in the 1861 & 1871 censuses above.
