He was Henry W Curtis when he married Daisy Barr so not sure now that the 1911 record I mentioned is his as this is for William Henry Curtis. Thanks for checking but I think I made a mistake.

Can't remember how much was on the other thread - noted earlier in a couple of posts from March, - but it's now been deleted.

He was married Daisy in 1928 so would possibly be with his parents in 1911. They could possibly be landlords. His mum may have had the maiden name Slater as a cousin of Daisy's called Susan Elizabeth Slater appears as witness to her mums deatbh,

PM received from Lucy about Daisy - I've copied over her first post from here onto the other thread to try and keep the info. in one place as the enquiries are inter-connected. Have then advised her to keep to the thread so everything is in one place and to provide as much information as possible to help the search.

The request on the other thread asked for the 1939 entry for the daughter Pamela 1917 who married a Mr Fortt
..................
(Also posted on the duplicate thread)

PAMELA RUTH
Last name FORTT
Gender Female
Birth day 24
Birth month 9
Birth year 1917
Age -
Death quarter 4
Death year 2006
District DORSET
District number 4291F
Register number F3F
Entry number 114
Date of registration mm/yy 1106
County Dorset

On that basis, her entry on the 1939 entry will be CLOSED. That is because she died after 1991.
Although the transcribers are trying to match the gro death index from after 1991 with the 1939 entries, its more difficult for females

The maiden name of the Nursemaid is actually Edna K. Warren (there is a smudge of ink over the original image).

The second person on the transcription above is actually Henry W. Curtis.

I don't have access to Electoral Rolls from that time but in the 1939 Register they are at The King's Arms, St. Thomas Street. Lymington. Henry is listed as Landlord of Public House.

Daisy L Barr (nee Cooper) married Henry W Curtis in 1928, Lymington, Hampshire
Daisy had two children Pamela and Miriam and Henry already had two sons from a previous relationship.
They all lived above a pub in Lymington High Street in the late 1920's/early 1930's and Henry W Curtis was possibly a landlord at some point.
I would be grateful if someone has access to the electrol register showing this family and the pub name, many thanks. :-)
