afternoon all ..

Been given birth cert info from a relative and on the mothers details it has Annie Barnes late Bowman formally Hodgson ..does this mean the mothers maiden name was Hodgson and Bowman was a first married surname ??

That should be Formerly not Formally, Two completely different meanings.
