Copies of relatives

It is a feature of the GR tree software that if the same person appears twice in the tree (say as the result of cousins marrying, or two brothers marrying two sisters of the same family) that sometimes a second box for that person appears on the tree.

The box that is a copy is marked as a copy and the data is the same for both instances.

If that is the case then do not delete one or you may end up deleting both.

You could ask Support if they will do it for you, although they might say you'd still have to delete the attached relatives.

Althernatively, you could change his name to something like 'Error' and leave him hanging in the wind.

I accidentally made a copy of a relative in my tree. How do I get rid of it without going to the original and deleting everyone attached to him?
