Hi All,

I am hoping someone may have access to the diamond subscription, I have gold but the record I want to view is only available to Diamond. and to pay £70 for a record is a little steep for even me.
type the name Channing in the search and once it shows results go to Miscellaneous on the right and there will be 2 results in the TNA Index I am interested in the one for Albert dated 1916.

I would very grateful if someone could help and if i could repay the the favour with ancestry i will do so.

Many Thanks

Melvyn

I don't have access to The Genealogist Website but on Findmypast there is an army service record dated 1916 for an Albert Channing. Could this be the record you are wanting or is it something else? :-

On the image his middle name is Thomas and his address is given as 21 Hampton Court Road, Hampton Wick, Middlesex, and his wife is Edith Mary Channing, and they were married on 30th September 1908.

Children's names are Albert Ernest born 9th Nov. 1908, Arthur William born 10th May 1910, Ivy Kathleen born 28th Feb. 1913 and Edith Lilian (her date of birth is given in darker writing as 12th Jan 1917 but then crossed out and a set of letters written next to it which I'm not sure of. On a later page her date of birth is given as 26th Dec. 1916)

It gives his father's name as George and his mother as Sarah.
