If he lived in Hertfordshire, he might be buried in that county rather than in Barnet. Of course, he could have been buried with his wife, wherever she is. She might have died in Edmonton rather than lived there.
Perhaps it would be wise to buy her DC before incurring additional costs for council searches.

Yes Det, that did cross my mind. Ernest has a probate record:

Ernest Henry Saunders of The Spot Restaurant, London, Colney, Hertfordshire
Died at Wellhouse Hospital, Barnet, 16 May 1934

Probate to: John Alexander Longmore (solicitor) & Maud Sporton (widow) £2070

Wouldn't that burial be more likely for this person? Dec to 23 Jan is quite a delay

Deaths Mar 1931   (>99%)
Saunders  Elizabeth A  60  Battersea  1d 586

Her death was registered in the last quarter of 1930 so she could have been buried in Jan 1931? However her death was registered in the name Eliza A and this burial is 'Elizabeth Annie' ?

Burial Register summary

Elizabeth Annie Saunders

Burial date 23 January 1931

Authority London Borough of Southwark

Location Nunhead Cemetery Southwark

Eliza might be buried in Edmonton Cemetery maintained by Enfield council.
They will look up details on their register, but at a cost of £19 pp.
[email protected]

They need
date of death or date of burial
full name of the deceased

Do be aware that not everyone had a headstone, plots may have been reused or the deceased could have been buried in a 'common grave'.

I have my aunt's parents details of deaths but no idea where they are buried, she is now getting on herself and would dearly love to visit cemetery/ cemeteries. How can i help her?
I am looking for: Eliza Ann Saunders d. 1930 aged 44 at Edmonton Middlesex.
Ernest Henry Saunders d. 16.05.1934 at Barnet Middlesex.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
