	Does anyone know what the letter P means next to certain names in the Aberdeenshire registers thank you

	Which year are you looking at? ADDED: Looking at an Aberdeenshire ER for 1920, a note at the beginning says that P means "Entitled to vote in a Parliamentary election only.":
