Jess, I'm new-ish to this, and I'm so pleased to have found someone offering to do lookups on the censuses for me! I'm trying to sort out details of my grandfather who was orphaned, and went to live with his uncle, but not sure when etc, or what brothers and sisters he had; so I hope you can help. His name was Edward Hardman, born 05/07/1891 in Harwood St. Pendleton, Salford (maybe listed as Manchester) His parents were Edwin and Mary Ann Flowers, don't know their DoBs. In 1901, he would either still be in Pendleton, or moved to his Uncle Ralph Hardman, who lived at Newtown, New Mills. The trouble is, half of Newtown is in Derbsyhire, and half in Cheshire, so if the census is organised by county, I realise I am asking you rather a lot!

Much appreciated offer. Lancashire 1851/61/71 if poss. 1851: I have a Daniel Naylor b c1830 who married in Dec1851 at Ashton in Makerfield. Hopeful of him being still at home at time of 1851census with his parents. Believe father to be John bc1805, don't know mother. 1861/71: Then, if not too much trouble, same Daniel, now married. Wife Ann. Know of one child for certain, Daniel b 1856 at Haydock, Warrington, Lancashire. I already have Daniel senior alone and widowed at 1881 in Derbyshire and Daniel junior in 1881 in Scotland. Thanks, in hope.
