.....because they were having an argument.
And, since he (apparently) has one heck of a temper, I reckon at the height of the arguing she got frightened and ran into the bathroom, locking the door behind her because she knew it could get/was getting nasty.

I don't believe he intended killing her. But I do think, in a fit of rage, at the height of an argument, he intended frightening her by firing shots at the bathroom door....
a) not expecting the bullets would pass directly through
and/or
b) not realising she was directly behind the door.

This idea of having a gun in the house is bizarre to me :-S

Island Report 8 Apr 2014 22:06

Because he thought it would be ok to shoot a burglar :-S

She apparently screamed after she was shot in the hip - surely he knew it was her. And why would he fire shots at a burglar?

I find it strange that Oscar did not sense that Reeva was not in the bed, I know that when ever my husband got up for a pee in the night it did not matter if I woke from a deep sleep I knew he was not there

just so Fred, they ARE/(were) young and possibly still embarrassed?
takes all sorts I guess........
my ma in law always insisted that her husband had never seen her naked with the lights on..........

JBA........that's also another possibility.......

Anyway - he gave a very good *performance* to-day. Wonder how long he's been rehearsing that?

I almost believed it :-(

Frederick Report 8 Apr 2014 20:18

I don't find it strange, there are lots of married couples or partners
who would be embarrassed if their other halves or partners
inadvertently opened the door whilst they were having a Tom-Tit
or performing other ablutions.

:-S :-S :-S F.

If Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp were alone together in his house, why did she lock the toilet door?
