	Two kings both abdicated on this day in history. Edward VIII abdicated in 1936 in order to marry Mrs Simpson. And James II fled the country in1688. Today also marks the anniversary of the death of the last Welsh Prince of Wales. Llewelyn ap Gruffydd was killed in the battle of Aber Edw in 1282.

	How many of us would follow Edward's example by giving up an easy lifetime guaranteed job for the love of a good woman & thereafter both live financially well-off on State handouts?
