Yes, so pleased for you that it was not worse. Keep taking the tablets then :-) :-) <3

You just have to get on taking one day at a time, some days are better than others, today the weather is, at the moment, lovely beautiful blue skies no clouds, but I have done some gardening but now too sore so it could be an excuse to craft, although head down for long makes neck and shoulders more sore, but will just take more tablets and use more rub. Just need to keep reminding myself it could have been so much worse.

Oh dear Jo, nice to have a new car but not nice to not be able to drive it in comfort. I hope all the aches go soon.

Not another car crash, Michelle I hope you start feeling better soon. As Ann has said get a pack of bought catds thats a great idea.

Ann, my car was a total write off so I had to go and buy a new one but my knee is really painful when I drive. Keep going physio every week just hope I don't need surgery. At least the headaches have stopped but still keep getting vertigo. Physio thinks it will improve as my neck, shoulders and arms improve.

Are you still no better Michelle? did you claim compensation for your injuries? You seem to have been suffering quite a while now. sorry it is no better though. why don't you buy an inexpensive pack of cards and send those instead of making them for now, like Roz does. That way you won't feel guilty. Hope the aches go soon. :-) <3

I phoned for the police as my car was blocking the road, his car was on the grass verge. It had taken one wheel of my car completely off so it could not be pushed out the way. Living in a village the police only sent one officer so my husband came and helped direct the traffic till the salvage people arrived. I wouldn't mind but I had been waiting to turn right for over a minute as it was 5.30 and everyone one was coming home from work. I had my lights on my brake lights on and an indicater and he still said he didn't see me!! He was going well over the speed limit, but at least he told the police and his insurance company that the accident was completely his fault, so his insurance sent me a hire car straight away and settled with no problems at all. My insurance company on the other hand were rubbish so would not advise anyone to use M&S car ins!! Still it all could have been so much worse.

Sounds nasty Jo. Did the police get involved? Is it a 30mph limit? Hope your knee heal soon. Xx <3

Ann,some silly young man hit me when I was waiting to turn right into my drive and when I say he hit me, that is an understatement he was going so fast he ended up 20 foot in front of me. My car was written off and I found out later gave me concussion and damaged the ligaments in my right knee.
As you say the group does jog along all by itself most of the time. I think the postings on here miss Sylvia she always kept it going.
Your new addition to the family looks so sweet.

Jo! I didn't know about the car crash. Goodness, what happened, do hope you will recover soon. Luckily at this time of year the birthday girls jog on without too much prompting. Let me know if I can do anything though.

Sorry that we are a bit out of date on here, but with my vertigo try not to go on the computer too often as it certainly makes it worse. It has been terrible since I had a car crash in February, so hopefully it will settle down at some point. On two lots of medication for it now but not not really making much difference. Need to use a walking stick for my knee, just hoping that will clear with physio and will not need surgery.
Hope everyone is keeping well

Ann, I have all the ones I have been sent in a box at the bottom of a wardrobe in the spare room! I keep saying I am going to take them apart and reuse the pieces, but as yet have not done anything with them. I think it is such a waste of such lovely cards not to do anything with them, but it is just finding the time to take them apart and reuse.

For those who use them in their card making....I have just bought 100 small tassels from eBay for £2-85.....from China......... they arrived today and I am most impressed with the quality. I am sure a quick search will find them.

I have just put this on the craft thread but thought I would repeat it here. I don't know if any ex members of the group read the boards.

I have just been making some Christmas cards for one of the charities I make cards for. I have been re-making last year's cards.

Why do I feel guilty when re-using handmade cards? I don't with shop bought ones. I think it is because I feel like saying 'This is not all my own work :-D Maybe I should put on the back "with thanks to...."

Does anyone else re-make handmade cards. I feel it is such a shame to waste them when they are so lovely and I don't have room to keep them.
