I was talking to my sister the other night, she mentioned the number of books she reads.
I said I didn't read much now, I thought all the reading I had to do at Uni put me of reading, to a degree.

maggiewinchester - random indeed.

How about the jaw-dropping article in today's Times Newspaper concerning the grossly inappropriate behaviour of a Monk & others at Ampleforth Catholic College?

Depressive reading.

maggiewinchester Report 6 Apr 2017 15:04

It would have to be the 'in memorial' thread, obviously!

Shouldn't your statement be on the Easter Egg thread, Dermot, or is that a random thought? :-D :-D :-D

Dermot

Dermot Report 6 Apr 2017 14:57

Theresa May criticises National Trust over ‘ridiculous’ decision to drop ‘Easter’ from egg hunt.

Caroline

Caroline Report 6 Apr 2017 14:50

True...so very true but that would be offensive...and would that be the original hot air thread or the in memorial one?

maggiewinchester

maggiewinchester Report 6 Apr 2017 14:49

Shouldn't the last comment be on the hot air thread?

Caroline

Caroline Report 6 Apr 2017 14:47

Sharron Report 6 Apr 2017 14:01

You don't know either then?

Dermot

Dermot Report 6 Apr 2017 13:54

Sharron - smithereen?

A very useful & well used descriptive word. But you have to be pure-bred Irish before I can explain this word in plain English. Or I might do so in the Gaeilge just to be awkward. No extra charge required.

It's not his fault, it started at birth with his parents maybe over spelling his name, it was down hill from then
