I am trying to help find a Rosie DIAMOND who emigrated to Western Australia it is believed from Ireland in the 1960s... can anyone help? Thanks :-)

Do you know when she was born, and whether that is a married or maiden name?

Also, did she emigrate with her family?

We believe she was about 25 in 1968 making her year of birth c1943 - she had a daughter Siobhan but am unable to give an age for her... Rosie had a sister Kathleen who was married with 4 children and she had also emigrated to WA with her husband Leslie Tutton from England. Diamond is a maiden name do not know any married name for Rosie. Tks

If Rose did marry, the Australian privacy laws are going to make it difficult to find her or any previously unmarried female. You may have more luck with the male Tuttons

John what were the parents' names of Rose & Kathleen? Did Kathleen have a 2nd given name?

There is an A C TUTTON in Sunnybank Hills, Qld - could be Anthony C?

Hi - checking on a middle name for Kathleen. Leslie Tutton died in 1999 in Adelaide so am not sure where the Queensland connection is but I will follow up with A C Tutton who may be Anthony. I do know that Leslie gave his remains to Science.

We are pretty sure that Kathleen was Kathleen Elizabeth... she was on the electoral role for the district of SWAN in Perth WA in 1972. Thanks

The 'West Australian State Library' (on-line) has an 'Ask a Librarian' service -they will check electoral rolls- past & present. (give them as many clues as you have i.e.1977 Vivash)
