Army look up please

Good morning everyone

I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me please??

I'm looking for my dads uncle Albert he was in the 8th army (desert rats) his full name was Albert george Viall born 21/11/1919 woolwich. His parents were Harry Viall and Kate galley.

If anybody could help I would be very grateful

A tree on Ancestry says he married Kathleen Gibbons in 1947 and had a son.

I'm afraid I don't know much about accessing WW2 records. I believe you have to be next-of-kin. There are others on this site who know more about it. Perhaps they could advise.

Incidentally my uncle was also a desert rat in 8th. army.
