On the Help line - it says after the FAQ contact the support team - but there is no link

It would be very useful if GR added this on the FAQ page too

However my idea is that they should have an established subscription price list as us Older members - In terms of length of time served on the boards & the system - been a member here since May 2003 - (not age) seem to all be paying varying amounts for our new subscriptions anything from £6.50 to £9.00 in very strange amounts of pence

I was emailed one amount - went to change my card in the system & was charged a different amount slightly higher than the quote - do you get a refund or could I get an extra 6-9 months added to my membership term?

I stopped using Quick Search a considerable time ago, because, as KenSe says, the results are not in any order.

If they were at least in chronological order, it would be helpful - with the most recent showing first in the list.

Advanced Search shows results in chronological order, so why not Quick Search?

So that's two suggestions now:
1. Add an "All boards" search option to Advanced Search.
2. Show Quick Search results in chronological order.

The trouble with quick search is that it gives so many returns and the results are not in any obvious order.

It would be useful to be able to specify a year so that posts made before that year were not included in the results.

Hi ArgyllGran,

There is a 'quick search' option on the left where you can enter a keyword. For example if you are looking for surname 'Jones' it will return a list of all threads which contain that name without you having to search individual boards.

Happy to discuss further if this is not what you had in mind.

I've only just discovered that the suggestions roundups have restarted - I stopped looking after being told that they were discontinued.

My original suggestion, in May 2014, was:

It's annoying to have to search each Forum individually for a particular phrase.
Please can we have an additional search option of "All forums"?

Unfortunately you haven't understood my suggestion, Shelley.
Yes, I know there is an Advanced Search function.
But the drop-down list of boards to search only lists individual boards.

If you are looking for the name of a relative, for instance, it might be in a thread on any one of:
Genealogy Chat, Military Chat, Find Ancestors, or Find Living Relatives, depending on how accurately the thread poster has used the boards.

Currently, each of these has to be searched individually, which involves a very long wait each time, while the search results are produced.

If there were an additional "All boards" option, it would mean only one search and long wait.

Not sure if I am posting this on the correct board, so if it isn't then I apologise.
What I would like to know is, I would like to email GR about my recent subscription payment but can't find a link to click on to message them. Never had this problem before as there was always a link to do this on the FAQ section. Can anyone help me please.

Totally agree with Ann, there really are some changes that need to be made, one being showing the respect of those that lost their lives for us be shown with dignity and portrayal of remembrance they deserve....

As it is a phone you are talking about I can't see what GR can do about it.... The only site that fits on my screen is Facebook, everything else I have to scroll from side to side.....I suppose they could do what whatever Facebook have done to achieve this
