I am trying to find a record of the Birth of my G G G Great Grand Father Albett Edward Lewis, I have his Death cert from Nov 1900 saying he is 39 so should have born around 1860 but i can not find him

Can anyone help

Not sure if thats him either as he would have been 40 when he died if born the July - Sept 1960 and died in the nov 1900

yeah, but do remember that he may have lied about his age for some reason, or the person who registered his death just got it wrong

i've been caught out that way a couple of times!!

have you got a marriage certificate, that would name his father?

or the names of any siblings?

what was his profession stated as on death cert? who registered his death?
