Hi trying to find out where she was in 1891. Henrietta had a child out of marriage in 1893 [ i only asume this as i canot find a marriage for these 2] to a Daniell Tyrrell ? Terrell ? The little girls name was Elsie Tyrrell Blishen on her birth certificate Born on the 09.09.1893. Place of birth Hendon .Mother Henrietta went on to marry in 1895 the same month and year her sister Georgina married I have her with her family in 1881 and 1901 under her married name Hetty Cave but nothing else thankyou for your help Trac

Hetty's mum worked in a Chandlers Shop in 1891.

Originally, this would have meant selling candles - later the term meant merchant, as in corn-chandler - now-a-days I've only heard it as a shortening of ships-chandler. I've no idea of the time-line I'm describing.

This doesn't look like the Henrietta who married Charles Cave in 1895. Her father's name was Robert, whose occupation was a Smith.



If this is not the correct Henrietta in 1881, could you please post the one you are referring to.

HELP Hello could that mean that Henriettas child Elsie born in 1893 was to her step brother i have re read the birth certificate and it dose say Daniell Tyrrell father Her madin name was Blishen But they were never married I am a bit confuised was the baby Elsie 09.09.1893 Elsies name on the birth certificate is Elsie Tyrrell Blishen I just can't wrap my head around this one thankyou for some input If they wern't married or were they and i can't find it Could this be my brick wall

Well, there aren't that many Daniel Tyrells. Seems the likely choice.
