Updated message.....have since found out Rene was really Alice Crowley who maried a William Dicks and had five children ...later married a Thomas Price and moved to Doncaster after 1938 and had 2 daughters Sylvia and Margaret and a son Thomasbut have found no evidence to prove this. i was wondering if anyone could please help me in my search.......would be much appreciated..maybe the 1911 census could shed some light....thankyou Julie |

IN addition to the children shown on the census, two had died before the census was taken. |

The John Crowley in 1911 could be any age - the original is unclear, actually looks like he is 89, but 59 is possible, which would make him old enough to have been married for 27 years and have a son J aged 23. But this son is called Cunningham, not Crowley. |

Julie, I would suggest that you get that marriae cert and let us know who the father is, or get the birth cert of one of her children to get her maiden name. |
