Emily Reed and her family are all from Devon - Torrington and surrounding areas - so may be possibility of link.

Hi. I am trying to trace my family tree (SEDGBEER). I have a couple of Ernest in mine, But my family are mainly from devon. not sure if this is any help?

Yes - very strange name. I couldn't find it in BMD - got the name from a baptism record when I visited Devon.

I'm goping to concentrate on Ernest John initially and see where that takes me. I have had a message today from someone who may be his great grand daughter which if accurate will be amazing.

Not for sure - really fishing in the dark on this particular relative. They both came from large families - so just guessing that they in turn may have children.

I have only searched by the one surname - I didn't realise you could enter both simultaneously.

I have found multiple REED family graves at Llandaff Cathedral and have traced Emily to Cardiff in 1911 and 1920 - but then loose all record of her post marriage.Struggling to find a death.
