Find Ancestors

I am trying to find out more about George Taylor b. 1806 his wife's name is Ann, by the census in 1841 George is 45 and Ann 30 living in Edmondbyers, but all my searches keep coming up blank, can anyone help me pease.

Edmondbyers comes under Durham, I am trying to go beyond 1841 and find out where George was born, I know he was living in Edmondbyers in the 1841 census and that his wife was call Ann, but thats all I know at that point, I have tried and tried but keep coming up with blank, the trouble is I don't know where he was born. Where can I go to find this out. Does this make sense to you or not.

Thanks Vivienne, that is the last peice information I found out on him, I am having trouble, find out more about him and his wife from that census, please where do I go to find that out.

so on the 1841 image shows he is a farmer and neither ann nor he were born in the county
but all the children were.
try and find the family in later census
should give their birthplaces,if we can find them!!

Looks like George died pre 1851 and Ann remarried

so if ann was born bywell northumberland there is a good chance george was too.

this looks like hannas birth,and with a middle name like that it may be her mothers maiden name??

cant find a death for george on freebmd in weardale district though.

i only looked for the birth to try and get a timeframe for georges death and now i cant find that!
mind you in the last 2 days ive searched for 4 deaths ,2 through the quarters,and not found em.
and one last week i sent for was wrong!!

anns second marriage is in northumberland so maybe george died there
