Hi Im trying to find out any info on James Goldsmith born c1828, married a lady called Mary. They had 5 children named Florence, Edward, George, Alice and Ellen. Florence went on to marry a man called William Hourd born c1865. William and Florence are my great grandparents on my mothers paternal side, hense making James Goldsmith my great great grandfather. |

Oh, we also believe that he was known as Captain, weather this was just a nickname or maybe he was actually a sea Captain of some sort. |
