John. The d.o.b. I have is a "guesstimate" - based on what I imagine his age might have been when he was recuited into the FAA. I'm guessing around about the mid-20s but he might have been older or younger. I'm trawling around for a start point where someone thinks "yes, I know who he is / was. |

You could always try the Fleet Air Arm museum at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset. It's possible that they might have records of FAA personnel of that period, or at least tell you where those records may be kept now. |

Because of the lack of details its going to be hard..... you have to go with rumour and to eliminate these. You say he might have been from Port Talbot area. Well this sits in between two registration districts. Neath and Swansea. These are possible births for both. |
