There is a family of Cannings in Box a village outside of bath who lived in the village for several generations. Worth a look.

Really interested to read this, as William is my great x 4 grandparent and I have been doing extensive research on the Batheaston and Bath connections and family line. Direct line is Jasmine and Francis Cannings, who were my Grandma and Great Uncle - he is till alive, 96 this year! Happy to share my tree and would love to fill in some more missing gaps.

I regularly visit the graves of Joseph and Querina Cannings in Batheaston.
