I AM REALLY TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE ADA CAME FROM SHE WAS WORKING AS A DOMESTIC. POSSIBLY A CONNECTION WITH WALES.

ALSO MY GRANDFATHER WAS BROUGHT UP BY THE YEO FAMILY OF BOVEY.

Was Harris Ada's married name or was William illegitimate?

William Henry should be on the 1901 census since it was taken 31 March but I can't find him.

Can't spot him or Ada on the 1901 England census in that area and the only YEO coming up as born or resident in Bovey or Newton Abbot then is Owen George Yeo b. 1893 He's a boarder.

Could this be Ada's death:

William's father name was not on the birth cert. And I've no idea if Harris is Ada's maiden name or not, I know she was is service so I think may be it was.

Sounds like he was illegitimate then and the guess would be that she was unmarried or there would have been a father listed.

Might be worth getting the death cert and see if that can give you any clue.
