There seem to be two possible women, you could try searching for their children using Woodford and either of the maiden names on FreeBMD as Libby has done above |

sorry no idea of her name - she died whilts giving birth to my grandad I believe - he doesn't even know what her name is! |

I have looked up your grandfather's birth and his mother's maiden was Burratt which is not the name I gave you but Montague W Woodford did marry in 1911 to Alice E Band , maybe she died and he married again... |

I have found a Jack Woodford c 1920 and Reuben Woodford c 1918 which I beleive are his brothers! |

we are not sure he talked about an aunty Pol (Polly) but that could have been a nick name - he also talked about an aunty Violet? |
