I cant see a Butterworth/Ashworth marriage to fit , but Butterworth has to come into it somewhere for Robert then , maybe his mothers maiden ? |

Debbie I've been looking on the Hugh Wallis batch numbers for a Butterworth/Ashworth marriage & according to that the IGI only have marriages for the years 1855-1862 & 1582-1801 St Chads for all of Rochdale. |

I did find a baptism on IGI for a Mary Butterworth around the right time Parents wre Samuel & Martha. |

I know there are alot of them as Ashworths and guess what I do have Butterworth's in my tree , my gt grandmother is Olive millicent Butterworth , how they like eachothers family ;-)) |
