Ann Report 24 Nov 2008 20:49

Hi there
Iam trying to find the death of a Catherine Hooley she was born around 1849 (not sure of date as she keeps changing her age on the census') she would have died in the cardiff area.

Iam also trying to find the death of William Hooley he was born in December 1860 in Cardiff and was a Locamotive Fireman.
Any help on anything to do with these people would be greatly recieved

Thankyou
Ann

You may need to work your way through the full listings. There's nothing on FreeBMD so they may have died well into the 1920s/1930s or even later.

CLW2005 Report 24 Nov 2008 22:25

think this may be William...

William HOOLEY d.Q4 1947 - Merthyr T - 8b 340
aged 87

maybe he went to live with one of his children after his wife died.
(Merthyr T is about 23 miles north of Cardiff - so not far)

At least if you order Catherine's death cert - it will say wife of OR widow of

all the best!
