Member Since: February 2006 Posts: 66 Send Message	Hi I have now got the Birth certificate for Kate Horsfall and it is the correct one and the original copy of the census but does any body know how I find out why she was in there as the details are blocked out I looked for death for next year on but not there so I am presumming she lived regards

I have also found in the national archives a Charles Horsfall born 3rd SEP 1887 IN Shoreditch. joining the Royal Navy on the 8th July 1915 the HMS Victory. think it was a training ship then on to the Hyacinth. but according to the note he was arrested in Cape Town for Shop Lifting and it states he wasnt allowed to serve in the R.N. again !!!! thrown out in Jan 1917 so that could be him as well. another descrepancy is Charles Rubens marriage cert. has got Francis Horsfall down as his father deceased and not Charles a motor washer (deceased) but his birth cert says Charles Horsfall a carman? but thanks once again you ha ve been great regards

	there is definitely some discrepancy so i am going to spend some more time on it. the marriage age is in between both prison ages so only one can be right.

Member Since: February 2006 Posts: 66 Send Message	Hi once again thanks for you help its the Charles Horsfall 31 thats confusing me as Charles Ruben was born 1908 which is right and Rose is his sister on birth cert. she is down as Jane Rosina born at 61 Maria Street Charles was born at n o 68 but cant figure out the Charles 31 born 1880 Hoxton London if he was 3 it would be Charles Ruben 1908 ! regards

	there is also some discrepancy with ages too. the 1911 has him at 24 whilst the 1901 has him at 26. saying that there are not many horsfalls in london.

Member Since: February 2006 Posts: 66 Send Message	HI thanks for the help one of the reasons that wondered if you were able to find out why Charles was sent to prison was that they might have had who next of kin was on his record as you can see Charles is down as 31 and the mother is only 23 so I am wondering maybe he was married twice and that Charles age 31 was from the first marrage ? as Rose is only 5 I have got the marriage cert for Mary Whitehead and Charles Also I have the marriage cert for Charles Ruben Horsfal but it has got his father as Francis deceased so it is becoming more confusing as I cant trace a Francis !! maybe two families regards
