You're right, it is possible that Tryphena registered the birth after Cecilia returned home, and that, as informant her information was confused with the mother's information. |

Is it possible that Tryphena had a baby for Cecilia and Arthur? Cecilia and Ralph were married two years before Ralph was born- perhaps they couldn't have children? |

Now that is interesting! Arthur and Cecelia's son Ralph Allan was born at 83 Broad St, St Mary's, Reading (on the Birth Cert) on 26 Dec 1878. In the 1881 Census they were living at Haverfordwest St Thomas, Pembroke where Arthur was a Station Master. |

Working on the principle that names were often handed down throgh generations and this is a more unusual one I thought this may be worth a look |
