Find Ancestors

Trying to find if there are siblings of Edward Francis Grimes born to Richard Francis Grimes and Annie Hennessey. He died age 62 in 1938 which brings his date of birth to app 1876. It is hard to view Victorian records from NSW. Many thanks Kerry

Hi unfortunately this is the only information that I have on him, I do believe that he would have been born in Victoria Australia. They actually lived in Windsor Victoria. I just wish I had more information. Thanks anyway Kerry

Do you know where Richard and Annie married?

It's Kerry again, what I am trying to do is find the relatives on this particular branch of the grimes family for my brother. His mother was Francis Alice Violet/ or Alice Francis Violet Grimes. She suffered post natal depression in 1936 and subsequently left the Royal Park receiving home and walked into the Yarra River. He wants know if there are any relatives out there left that perhaps knew the family and he can have some closure. He didn't find any of this out until he was in his late 20's and he is now in his early seventies. So I have taken up the challenge for him. Thanks everyone who helps people out it is truly wonderful.

Paula unfortunately this is the only information that I have. I have just been keeping on ringing as many grimes in the melbourne phone book that I can. His daughter Francis Alice married Henry Mcmillin in Prahan. But sometimes when there is a mystery people want to forget that it happened. Wish I could help more but many thanks anyway.

Would anyone know of any issue from the marriage of Lillian Doris Grimes to Ernest Barnes Inman. They were married in 1925. She also married Roy Edward Smith in 1939 all in Melbourne. They did live in the Windsor/Malvern/Prahan areas of Melbourne. This is Francis Alice violet Grimes sister.

I have only just noticed your thread again, I can see there has been a few deletions on your thread. This could be where someone has added something and then realised that it was the wrong info. The info can only be deleted by the person who posted it.

I was not assuming you that you had done this Kerry.

As it would appear that you are looking for people in oz is may be beter to change the ttite of your heading and put Australia after the name. I am afaird I am not very good at this type of rsearch.

Hey thats ok I thought the gremlins had gotten into the system and wham oh! Actually that information was pretty good because some of them would or could have been part of the melbourne grimes family. But that is ok. I just didn't want someone causing mischief.
