thanks smiley, could you have a look at 1953 as i've just found a note on my files saying 1953, that's only a guess though from what my father has told me. thanks cassey will look into that one. Oh well there is a wellington in shropshire, but is that one in somerset is it??? mmmmm..... not likely to be somerset |

I'm thinking that he could've possibly died around 1953 not 56, sorry. I have found a fred talbot on the 1901 census but not sure if it is him as his dob is c1887, born cheswardine shropshire, living in adbaston, with dad john, mum mary and 3 brothers and 3 sisters |

If he was born in 1891 then he would be around 66yrs at death, assuming he died in the mid fifties |
