Well, specifying carpenter on 1911 comes up with the same Frank in Poplar. It's so close I would pay to have a look.

The Frank I am searching was a carpenter in 1901 census.

He was a stage carpenter when he married Emily in 1933, so would expect something similar in 1911.

Using advanced search I put Emptage occ stage carpenter and it comes up with Frank 1885 living Poplar.

It might be the age is hard to read so the transcriber got it wrong

If you are concerned about the YOB don't be, it could just about be that far out.
What about his occupation?

Have found this marriage - a bit unlikely, but having said that cannot find Frank Empett in 1911 either!

Frank is on the very edge of our tree, but I like to find out more about anyone.
In 1933 he married Emily MARSH and was shown on the cert as a widower,50, a stage carpenter. By then his father, Albert John, a boatman was deceased

I can't see an obvious marriage on freebmd, so thought finding him in 1911, might possibly find him married.
I think he didn't die until 1970s, but that's just from index.

Emily at some stage must have left him? because by late 1940s she was having a child with someone else and travelling to South Africa. Later she married yet another man in Bristol.
