Hello Sally..you may be right..if i had a bottle of the finest Malt whiskey for every eldest child turning out to be born out of wedlock.I'd be a complet alcoholic................the greatest fun I have is finding people hurriedly getting maried befoe their first child is born..........happens all the time......and since i make this Thread into a chatty one..unlike the copy and paste merchants..i always make some comment..in fun....... |

Hello Bernard.the Struut family of Edensor appear to be just one large related tree.....with perhaps one or two exceptions.haven't worked it all out yet, but the main Thread that you want is as follows.....bear in mind that we are dealing with Baptisms here..not Births......and there are many reasons why children were often baptised months or even years after birth |

Hello Mark..this is all getting VERY intersting.....Jonathan Marsh was apparently born in or around Belper in about 1735......details still to be checked..and married Sarah jarvis'not only was he relsated to your Marsh's..he was their direct forebear........Briefly it goes like this:- |

Hello Rose..sorry to keep you waiting......I could find no mention of Morton in the late 19th Century Hayfield Records...........which is not to say they are not somewhere in the vicinity..so many small places with their own Parish Records.......New mills hayfield Glossop Charlesworth Chinley to name but a few.......I'll keep an eye out for you, but its a massive job. |
