Marriage of Colin and Margaret isn't mine, her parents are James Letson and Annie Jamieson. His parents are Colin and Sarah McLachlan. GRRRR |

That was the only marriage I could find up to 1910. Maybe they married after that. Could the Jamieson be a mis-hearing of Johnstone (clutching at straws). Do any of the occuptions or address match up and are there any clues in the witnesses? |

I think that must be the same Margaret Letson that I found in the census. The address on the marriage cert is the same as the 1881 and 1891 census - 34 Crescent Street and her father's occupation is the same. Her mother's maiden name is Jamieson on the cert, though but that is the only difference. |

The Ann McLeod mentioned in Colin's army record gives an address of 18 Nicholson Street and Colin was living in Nicholson St when he married. |
