Thought there might be a few, it still may be worth ordering the marriage cert...an Evans marrying an Evans in Welshpool at that time can't be all that common! |

Russell, That would mean that the Joshua in the 1861 census married at 17? Not impossible I know but maybe a bit unusual? Big age difference too between George and Mary which would normally indicate a second marriage? |

I have just received the marriage certificate (dated December 1889) for Albert Worsdale and Elizabeth Evens and yes lancashireann, you were absolutely correct, her father is mentioned. |
