You have their names from his birth certificate?

I don't see a marriage at FreeBMD ... could have been before registration.

Have you not been able to find them together in a census?

... I'm not seeing a birth registration for William George Hodder 1847 Taunton. (Or anything like the name, date and place.)

Can you give the source of the info?

My brickwall. William George Hodder and Sarah Ann Pain, parents of William George Hodder born Taunton 1847? is all I have. Trying to find anything about them
